Van Gogh’s Reflections

During the final years of his short life, Vincent Van Gogh spent much of his time in the village of Arles in the south of France. Many of his portraits from this period show a twisted and fractured view of the landscape he painted. Curiously, similar images can be found in the reflections from canals and streams and along the Rhone River where he spent countless hours at work during the final two years of his life.
